Historical romance writer A. M. Nielsen is a veterinarian in Colorado. She lives with her husband, two children, and three dogs. Nielsen graduated with high honors from Michigan State University, earned an Essential Skills certificate from the American Medical Writers Association (AMWA), and is pursuing an online MFA in creative writing.

A. M. combines her commitment to veterinary medicine with her love of romantic fiction. A percentage of her book sales will be donated to the Morris Animal Foundation, a nonprofit dedicated to scientific research and to helping dogs, cats, horses, and wildlife worldwide.
